Hydrolysed Feather Meal is a ground, powdered product resulting from the hydrolysis of feathers originating from the slaughter of chicken. The poultry slaughter byproduct is collected in establishments supervised by official inspector. Its processing takes place according to the country of origin rules of the Ministry of Agriculture, and only from chickens approved fit for human consumption As a nutritional characteristic, it contains high protein value, has advantages in the formulation of animal feed, enabling greater cost-benefit in the formulation of diets for monogastric. Hydrolysed Feather Meal is marketed in big bags. Hydrolysed Feather meal is used as an ingredient in the balanced manufacture of non-ruminant animal feed (poultry, pigs, fish, crustaceans and pet).
