Fish Meal

Fish meal is a powdered, crushed product, resulting from partial degreasing and thermal drying of fish and parts of fish. Antioxidants can be used to prevent oxidation of the fats present. It is a safe product, containing high protein value, excellent digestibility and palatability, and it can also be rich in essential fatty acids (omegas 3, 6, and 9). Fish Meal is sold in bags. Fish meal is used as an ingredient for the manufacture of balanced animal feed, mainly shrimp, fish feed, dogs and cats. Much appreciated for its taste. Fish meal also contributes significant fractions of polyunsaturated fatty acids, that is, it contains Omega 3 and 6.
